Things change in the blink of an eye, don't they? Not more than an hour ago we talked about a meeting between Juve and Roma and now, well now Pjanic is on his way to the Old Lady.

Welp, when it rains it pours. Not more than 30 minutes ago we talked about a reported meeting between Juventus chief Beppe Marotta and Roma regarding a possible Miralem Pjanic sale, and things just got a whole lot worse. Football Italia, CalcioMercato, Sky Sport Italia, Gianluca Di Marzio and basically anyone who follows Serie A is corroborating these reports.

The reported figure, €30.2 million plus €2 million in bonuses, is reportedly including Pjanic's 15% cut; that is to say, it's already been taken out and will be doled out by Juventus over the course of his new deal. Fan fucking tastic.

That's right my friends, Roma sold Miralem Pjanic, he of 17 goals and 23 assists over the past two seasons, is heading to Roma's most bitter rival, Juventus. This is Alessio Romagnoli + Andrea Bertolacci times a million. On what fucking planet is this a good idea? You couldn't have gotten the same exact deal from Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, PSG, Liverpool, Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, Zenit St Petersburg, Monaco, Dortmund or hell even the New York Cosmos?

Here are the finer points:

For Juventus, Allegri's first player of the summer has been identified. Today, an agreement was reached between Juventus and Roma for Miralem Pjanic. The 1990-born midfielder apparently met with Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici. Meanwhile, discussions with Roma over the details of a 30.4 million euro payment due to secure Pjanic's release. Juventus could recoup some of that money with the sale of Roberto Pereyra, who is liked by Watford and has others in England who rate him highly. Pereyra's price tag is 13 million euro, which would represent about 50% of Pjanic's release. The deal overall is work 38 million euro, with 7.6 million euro belonging to the player per his contract with Roma: the 20 percent for Pjanic will be inserted in the 5 year deal he is set to sign with Juventus.

So in addition to stripping your club of your best playmaker, and one of the best free kick specialists in the game, you hand him over for a song to your most hated rival? One that has already kicked your ass for the past five years?

I'm fucking done with this management. Call it a byproduct of the Sensi's mismanagement if you will, but you knew this was going to happen, so plan accordingly. Don't spend money like a sailor on shore leave for piece of shit players like Victor Ibarbo, Juan Iturbe or Seydou Doumbia--if you knew FFP would be an issue down the road, try and mitigate the losses, don't become more profligate in the interim.

Fourth place here we come. Wake me up when it's over.
