Roma’s conquest for a tenth Coppa Italia starts today. Well, right now actually, against Torino. Don’t miss it, as we’ll see a lot of squad rotation by Eusebio. People of whom we didn’t know they even existed (Skorupski and Moreno) or people who deserve more game time (Emerson and Gerson). And then there’s some obvious pieces to fill up the empty slots like Gonalons and Bruno Peres, et voila!

Official lineups are out:

ROMA (4-3-3): Skorupski; Bruno Peres, Moreno, Juan Jesus, Emerson; Gerson, Gonalons, Strootman; Cengiz, Schick, El Shaarawy.

A disp.: Alisson, Romagnoli, Castan, Florenzi, Nura, Manolas, Fazio, Pellegrini, De Rossi, Nainggolan, Dzeko, Perotti

TORINO (4-3-3): Milinkovic-Savic; De Silvestri, Lyanco, Moretti, Molinaro; Acquah, Valdifiori, Obi; Edera, Belotti, Niang

A disp.: Who cares, right? Let’s just beat Sinisa’s ass.

Damn, that’s an impressive bench of Roma. It’s nice to finally see Scorpion in action (still love you, Alisson), while Schick continues his search for a first goal at Roma. The whole front-line is underage and not allowed to drink in the USA or go to a discobar.

Will we need to call help from golden oldies Dani, Fazio, Dzeko and Radja or will Roma already secure the next round by the hour mark? The winner of this fixture draws either Juve or Genoa (probably the Jailbirds) in the quarter-final.
