EL Draw Results

Your typical draw for AS Roma. For the second year in a row and what seems like the usual outcome now, Roma have drawn arguably the toughest team left in the competition. Yay!

Celta Vigo-Krasnodar

Apoel-Anderlecht

Schalke 04-Borussia Mönchengladbach

Lione-Roma

Rostov- Manchester United

Gent-Genk

Olympiakos-Besiktas

Copenaghen-Ajax

Pallotta expects 'positive result' from Friday SDR meeting (stadiodellaroma.com)

Roma president James Pallotta has issued the following statement about the Stadio della Roma - Tor di Valle project, ahead of a key meeting on the subject on Friday:

“We expect a massively positive result from the meeting on Friday,” Pallotta said. “The alternative would be catastrophic for the future of AS Roma, Italian football, the city of Rome, and quite frankly for future business in Italy.”

Between words like “massively positive” and phrases like “catastrophic future”, you can’t tell me this guy doesn’t remind you of a certain recently elected world leader...

In all seriousness though, the result better be “massively positive”, or else the future of AS Roma could definitely well be up in the air. Mayor Raggi is rumored to be sick, but the meeting is still on for today.

For everything. The short sleeves, the sandwich making skills, the goals, and most of all, this tweet:

Porto-Juventus, il fallo di Lichtsteiner costa a Herrera 17 punti di sutura (Corriere Dello Sport)

English summary: Lickdicktainter was at it again. 17 stitches for Porto’s Herrera, who’s foot looked so gross I couldn’t post the image in the article. Click the link to see for yourself.
