Pallotta expects 'positive result' from Friday SDR meeting (stadiodellaroma.com)

Roma president James Pallotta has issued the following statement about the Stadio della Roma - Tor di Valle project, ahead of a key meeting on the subject on Friday:

“We expect a massively positive result from the meeting on Friday,” Pallotta said. “The alternative would be catastrophic for the future of AS Roma, Italian football, the city of Rome, and quite frankly for future business in Italy.”

Between words like “massively positive” and phrases like “catastrophic future”, you can’t tell me this guy doesn’t remind you of a certain recently elected world leader...

In all seriousness though, the result better be “massively positive”, or else the future of AS Roma could definitely well be up in the air. Mayor Raggi is rumored to be sick, but the meeting is still on for today.
