CdT Fantasy Serie A: Mid-Week Update

Squad rotation and some interesting matchups made for a more technical Round 5

Time for round five, the first midweek slate of fixtures this year in Serie A. These rounds are always interesting from a fantasy perspective, with many managers rotating quads and making it all the more difficult to pick your fantasy starting 11.

And for the first time since the league began, the mysterious josh is no longer atop the table! He has been usurped by Mostafa’s MSA Team (who I don’t believe is a CdT user and is using a pay-to-play premium account). So, with that said, I guess you could call josh still the de-facto league leader, with yours truly only one point behind and Loazzi only five behind!

The Top 40

Team/Manager of the Week:

Bello de Nonna, managed by yours truly, is the fantasy team of the week! My guys edged out some of their fellow competitors to finish the round with 81 points, mainly thanks to Roma stars Kolarov and Alisson, and a solid performance from captain Papu Gomez. Those 81 points were good enough to boost Bello de Nonna (which happened three years ago today!) into third place in the CdT league and into first place overall in the United States.

Quick reminder: It all starts back up again with Roma-Udinese at 9am on Saturday, so get those line-ups set ASAP.
