In just a week’s time, Roma will have completed the first half of the Serie A calendar. Once week 19 is completed, the league will go on its three week winter break, before resuming play the weekend of January 19th. Roma will resume a bit sooner with its Round of 16 Coppa Italia match on Monday the 14th against Virtus Entella.
Despite a disappointing first half of the season, Roma are only four points out of a Champions League place. The end game is still within reach, but in order to achieve it, the Giallorossi will have to navigate a busy schedule that includes the aforementioned Coppa Italia, in addition to the Champions League Round of 16 match up with Porto. With the big Champions League matches on February 12th and March 6th, Roma will have Friday and Monday dates to allow them a bit of extra time before and after the Porto matches.
Below are the dates and times (EST) of the first nine league matches for Roma in 2019.
