Kluivert Fee Agreed Upon

According to reports in Corriere dello Sport, the long talked about deal for Ajax’s Justin Kluivert should be finalized either today or tomorrow. The deal which was hinted at by Roma’s social media team over the weekend will be finalized for a fee of 17.5 million Euros, according to the sports daily. In addition, bonuses could bring the final fee up to around 22 million. Meanwhile, the player will be given a five year contract.

Berardi Deal Moving Along Slowly

Another long rumored deal thought to be in the works is that of a reunion between EdF and Domenico Berardi in the Italian capital. Corriere dello Sport also reports that the deal for Sassuolo’s Berardi is still in the works even though it is moving along slowly. The deal, like so many between Roma and the Neroverdi in the past, should involve some Roma youth product(s) moving to Emilia-Romagna. Some of the names being floated are Marco Tumminello, Daniele Verde, Mirko Antonucci, and Lorenzo Valeau. However, the sports daily reports that the first name on Sassuolo’s list is Alessio Ricciardi. Ricciardi is the crown jewel of the Roma youth set up and Trigoria is opposed to including him in any deal. As the deal moves slowly along we’ll see how firm both teams stand on players like Ricciardi.

Radja to Rejoin Spalletti?

So far this mercato the flurry of moves being reported about the Giallorossi has been about players coming to the capital, but with all the incoming transfers it’s highly likely there will be some familiar faces on the way out, as well. The name most en vogue the past few days has been that of Radja Nainggolan. His destination: the San Siro. TuttoSport is reporting that Radja will be reunited with former Roma boss Luciano Spalletti in the black and blue half of Milan.

The sports daily is reporting that Roma will get 35 million Euros in the deal in the form of 29 million cash plus the transfer of Inter youth star, Nicolò Zaniolo, who is valued at 6 million. The 18 year-old Zaniolo had 14 goals and 10 assists in 34 matches for Inter’s Primavera side this season. Keep an eye on the Radja to Inter rumors as they seem to be gaining more steam these days.

Alisson Speaks

Meanwhile, Roma’s 100 million dollar man, Alisson, spoke this weekend about his future while on duty with the Brazilian National Team. Alisson stated that he “he is working on possibilities, together with Roma”. What those possibilities are only Alisson and the cub know for sure. Meanwhile, we can only speculate. Could it be an imminent move? A contract extension? Whatever it is Alisson would like to have it all sorted out before the World Cup. If his wishes are to be granted there could be some big news coming this week, so keep an eye out.
