When Roma take the field later today we might not recognize them. That’s because they’ll be wearing something we’ve never seen them wear in recent years; an all yellow kit. In the Nike era Roma have cycled through a few different color third jerseys, including black, silver, brown, and neon orange. This year they’ve moved to yellow, a color that actually is part of the club.

The color certainly looks eye popping from the photographs. In addition to the distinctive yellow color, the kit also features a design blended into the front of the shirt. The jersey features an aerial map of the city of Rome, much like the white away jersey from a few years ago. In addition, it’s said to feature a subtle lupetto design as well.
Nike released the following comment on the design.
The first player to wear the new kit? @cengizunder!
