“Highlights” of Roma's Scoreless Draw with Sampdoria

The stadium looked good at least.

In retrospect, maybe we should have hoped that the inclement Genova weather spilled over into Sunday morning because today's match against Sampdoria was an ugly affair. Full of disjointed play, injuries, and the referee's whistle, neither Roma nor Sampdoria were able to mount much of a consistent attack this afternoon.

Despite all that, Roma did have a couple of decent chances (literally, like, two) but were found wanting as Nicolo Zaniolo put a bit too much mustard on his first half through ball to Nikola Kalinic, while Javier Pastore's twenty-yard attempt in the second half sailed just wide of the far post.

So, if you must, relive the “highlights” of Roma's scoreless draw with Sampdoria.
