Relive Roma's 3-0 Brescia Beat Down

The first half wasn't much to look at, but Roma turned it up to 11 in the second half.

Coming off the international break and facing a rather compact defense in rainy weather, I suppose we should have cut Roma some slack early in this match, but through the first 45 minutes this afternoon, the Giallorossi were held in check by their 20th place visitors.

Whatever Paulo Fonseca said or did in the locker room at halftime clearly worked, as Roma looked liked a completely different side. Their indecision and imprecision were quickly replaced by the aggression and decisiveness we've grown used to throughout the year.

Thanks to a 49th minute goal from Chris Smalling, Roma flipped the previously scoreless match on its head, eventually walking away 3-0 winners.

So, in case you missed it, enjoy the Smalling show.
