For continuities sake, we try to post highlights of every match—win, lose, or draw—and while reliving a defeat or a draw isn't the most exciting exercise one can undertake, there was plenty to like in Roma's performance today. Amadou Diawara was a revelation at the San Siro today, completing three tackles, picking off six passes, clearing two balls and hitting on an impressive six of nine long balls, while Gianluca Mancini and Chris Smalling were up to their usual tricks, thwarting attacks on the land, air and even at sea (don't quote me on that).
A full upset would have been amazing, but a point at the San Siro is always an accomplishment.
