For the second consecutive week, Roma are met with a must-win match against a domestic opponent. After faltering against Napoli in last week's shocking 4-0 defeat, the Giallorossi rebounded with a convincing 3-1 victory over BSC Young Boys in the Europa League, a victory that earned Roma the top spot in Group A.
But today is an entirely different task as Roma welcome third place Sassuolo to the Olimpico for an early season six-pointer. Separated by only one point on the table, a victory today would put Roma on 20 points, even with third place Juventus.
Like we said, this is a critical fixture. The lineups are in. Forza Roma!
