In yesterday's match preview, we asked three questions of Roma: Why did Cengiz Ünder reappear to only quickly disappear? Who will score goals for Roma? How can Paulo Fonseca rediscover Roma's form from late 2019?
We may not have a conclusive answer to those questions yet, but our first glimpse, Roma's 4-0 romp over Lecce, provided some pretty solid early returns. Ünder looked sharp in his 60 minutes of match time, Roma received goals from four different players and they did it all while pitching a shutout.
It will likely take more than one match to completely right the ship, but Roma looked quick, effective and dangerous today.
