After several weeks of planning, negotiating and speculation, Serie A announced late last week that the 2019-2020 season would indeed resume in the third week of June. While we had a tentative date of June 20th, which later proved to be June 19th, the actual fixture list had yet to be released. Yesterday, we spoke about the league's plan to stagger match days and kick-off times, but today we're happy to pass along Roma's actual fixture list!

Well, kind of... As you can see, all but the final three fixtures have official dates, as Roma will jam nine matches in under 30 days. Starting with a home tilt against Sampdoria on the 24th of June, the Giallorossi will complete the remaining 12 matches of the 2019-2020 season sometime in early August.
While no one can say for certain what will happen if there are a spike of positive tests in the league, the relatively headache free restart to the Bundesliga should give all calcio fans hope for a smooth transition to this awkward and unprecedented set of circumstances.
Stick with us throughout the week as we hit the refresh on Roma's 2019-2020 season. We'll take a look back on what happened before the pandemic hit, focus on a few players who need hot starts, as well as a few who might struggle to get up to speed.
Either way, we're t-minus 23 days from actual Roma football.
