Highlights of Roma's 3-0 Victory Over Brescia

Roma continued their upward trend today by dispatching Sandro Tonali and Brescia.

Today was definitely an interesting day in Serie A. With only three fixtures slated, fans of the Italian game were treated to three radically different yet entertaining matches. Kicking the day off was Sassuolo's 2-1 comeback over Lazio, one spurred by 18-year-old Giacomo Raspadori, who scored 52nd minute equalizer to set the stage for Francesco Caputo's match-winner in the 91st minute.

In the day's final fixture, Atalanta saw their hopes of cutting Juventus’ lead at the top of the table to six points dashed by a pair of questionable handball calls—questionable by Italy's interpretation of the rule, that is. Without the benefit of accidental contact, Atalanta were robbed of what would have otherwise been a rather one-sided 2-0 affair. But such is life in Italy.

Sandwiched in between these matches was Roma's 3-0 victory over Brescia. With a stunning mountain vista behind them, Nikola Kalinic, Federico Fazio and Nicolo Zaniolo won the day for the Giallorossi.
