After dropping three straight matches, toppling Parma and Brescia (the league's 12th and 19th placed sides, respectively) wasn't exactly on par with the 1980 Miracle on Ice, but Roma showed steady progress while finding their new tactical footing. They just needed to win and look organized and confident while doing so, which they did, particularly against Brescia.
But today was the toughest test for this new look Roma. By reaching ninth place, Verona aren't exactly the typical newly promoted side.
