Given the sweeping changes brought on by the Coronavirus pandemic, the past six months have felt like one long continuation of March, but believe it or not, it is now officially September. School has started back up (in varying forms) in many parts of the world, Tenet is finally being shown in theaters, the NFL is mere days away and, just a few hours ago, Serie A officially released the 2020-2021 calendar. The pandemic hasn’t relented but the usual signs of fall are here to provide some small measure of comfort.
Given that everybody plays everybody twice, I'm not sure why the release of the new fixture list is such an event (it's not like College football where you can pick and choose who you play), but it has become quite a drawn out production over the years. So, if you're like me and chose to sleep through it, here is Roma's full fixture list:

Roma kick the season off against the surprisingly tough Hellas Verona before hosting the nine-time defending champions Juventus at home on September 27th. Outside of that, your noteworthy fixtures include: newly promoted Benevento on October 18th, a trip to the San Siro to face Sandro Tonali and Milan on the 25th of October, while early to mid January should be incredibly intriguing, as Roma face newly promoted Crotone, an Inter Milan side that could feature both Aleksandar Kolarov and Edin Dzeko followed closely by the season's first Derby della Capitale on the 17th.
All told, this is pretty balanced schedule for Roma, with no real peaks or valleys in terms of “tougher” or “weaker” teams stacked back-to-back.
We're 18 days away from kick-off. Look for our season preview coverage to start next week!
