Roma vs. Juventus: Lineups & Game Thread

Roma need a win in the worst way, can Paulo Fonseca deliver three points against Juventus?

It was another chaotic week around Trigoria, as Roma fended off rumors of a coaching change and possible rift in the locker room, dealt with the fall out from the clerical error that cost them a point against Hellas Verona last week and continued their dogged pursuit of Chris Smalling.

With a maelstrom of rumors, hearsay and controversy plaguing them off the pitch, Roma now face the herculean task of defeating Juventus, Serie A's nine-time defending champs. The Old Lady may have a new look under first time manager Andrea Pirlo, but their inexperience on the touchline is masked by the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata, among others.

Slipping to 0-2 would be an ugly start to the season, so let's see if Fonseca has a miracle in his back pocket today.
