Given the historic rivalry between the two clubs, Roma vs. Inter Milan fixtures don't really require a lot of extra hype. For the past two decades, the Giallorossi and Nerazzurri have made their home at or near the top of the table and have featured some of the league's best players during that span. Sure, there have been some dry spells for both clubs, but thanks to new managers and a stable of savvy veterans and intriguing young talents, both Roma and Inter are nipping at Milan's heels.

And thanks to Sampdoria's shocking upset over Inter last weekend, today's match at the Stadio Olimpico has suddenly become a massive midseason six-pointer. A Roma victory today would put the two clubs on level pegging at 36 points apiece.
