Roma vs. Hellas Verona: Lineups & Game Thread

It's not every week that your club captain and third all-time leading scorer gets into a cold war with your somewhat embattled manager, casting the immediate future of both men into doubt. If you read the Roman papers this week, you'd believe that Edin Dzeko was off to Inter Milan in exchange for Alexis Sanchez while Paulo Fonseca, the man ostensibly showing him the door, was just keeping his seat warm until Max Allegri takes over in the summer.

It's not every week, but it sure as hell feels like it, right? Nothing is ever truly settled in the Eternal City and despite all the off-the-field noise, Roma have a tough task today: cracking an incredibly tough Verona defense, one that held the Giallorossi scoreless in the reverse fixture.

Verona aren't likely to receive any administrative help from Roma this time around. The lineups are in, so let's get down to business.
