With 15 points through his first seven matches on the Roma bench, the earliest days of José Mourinho's career in the Eternal City have been all smiles. Despite that strong start, The Special One faces an unenviable task this afternoon: defeating Juventus at the Allianz Stadium, something Roma has seldom done since Juve opened their new ground in 2017. While the current iteration of the Old Lady of Italian Football is off to a sluggish start, this is still Juventus we're talking about, and toppling the club that claimed nine of the past ten Scudetti is no easy task.
Mourinho said all the right things in his pre-match press conference yesterday but if he really wants the people of Rome to start believing, notching three points on the road against Juventus is a hell of a way to start.
The lineups are in, so let the battle commence!
