By now, you're all aware of what's at stake for Roma and Paulo Fonseca this evening. If Roma can maintain or improve upon their 2-1 advantage over Ajax, a trip to the Europa League semifinals awaits, where the Giallorossi will likely face Manchester United. If Roma can then survive and advance past the Red Devils, then maybe, just maybe, they can lay claim to the club's first trophy in over a decade.
And not only that. A Europa League title would automatically place Roma back into next season's Champions League competition, which would, in turn, trigger a third year on Paulo Fonseca's contract with the club.
As De La Soul once sang, the stakes are high. The lineups are in, so let's get down to business!
