With only six first-half goals in 10 matches, the first four days of the European Championships have gotten off to a slow start. While some of this falls down to random chance, there have been a few injuries and/or illnesses that have stripped clubs of top talent, forcing younger less experienced players into action, while other matches have been played under hot and humid conditions.
Ninety minutes of end-to-end action would be great, but some sluggishness should have been expected given how many matches these men have played over the past 10 to 12 months. Fortunately, the second halves have already provided plenty of epic moments over the past few days, punctuated by Patrik Schick's stunning lobbed goal from midfield in the second half of the Czech Republic's victory over Scotland yesterday.
We can't promise today's matches will get off to a flying start, but with three of the presumptive favorites finally taking the pitch, there should be plenty of entertaining moments in an afternoon that features Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, and Thomas Müller, among others.

Hungary faces the daunting task of slowing down Burno Fernandes, Cristiano Ronaldo, and the rest of an incredibly deep Portuguese side, who just so happen to be the defending European champions. Hungary has a few interesting players and the home-field advantage on their side, but this could be a blowout of substantial proportions.
