What started a month ago at the Stadio Olimpico in Roma concludes today at Wembley Stadium in London. After breezing through the group stage, Italy encountered a bit more trouble in their knockout stage fixtures against Austria, Belgium, and Spain but still managed to reach the final with one of the cleanest records in the tournament. England's run through Euro 2020 wasn't quite as decisive as Italy's, but the Three Lions scored impressive victories over Germany and Ukraine before scoring a controversial win over Denmark in the semifinals.

However, as they say, what's past is prologue, what's present is paramount. And at present, England is set to play their sixth match at Wembley Stadium, with a crowd of thousands and nation of millions attempting to will the Three Lions to their first title since 1966. So if Italy prevails, they'll have to do so in the most hostile atmosphere imaginable.
