It’s probably been one of the most recycled transfer rumors of the Serie A in the last few seasons. Edin Dzeko is leaving Roma. The Bosnian Bomber has spent the last half dozen seasons in the Italian capital and been linked with moves away at least the same number of times. We’ve seen him linked to numerous places, including rivals Juventus and Inter, among others.

Every time it seemed that he was close to an exit, though, Dzeko remained a Roma player. Through the years it’s created quite mixed emotions among Romanisti, with some fans breathing a sigh of relief while others rued yet another missed opportunity to rid the club of a player past his prime on high wages.

This time, however, it looks like Dzeko is finally out the door to the Nerazzurri. With the Romelu Lukaku transfer to Chelsea creating a void at the #9 position for Inter, a striker carousel will likely begin to spin. And with Dzeko being one of the moving parts, Roma will inevitably have to test the market for a replacement. So, buckle up as Sean and I answer all of your mercato inquiries. And thanks as always for listening and interacting.
