It all looked so promising for the Giallorossi after Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku linked up for an early goal just five minutes in. But that joy didn’t last long after Dybala was forced off with a muscular injury after just 25 minutes. La Joya was cooking before the injury, and his withdrawal extinguished Roma’s attack fire.

The match's complexion changed as the momentum pendulum swung the way of the Viola. However, even with little going forward, Roma felt like it could see out the victory. That was until two Roma red cards and a Viola goal robbed Roma of two points at the Stadio Olimpico.

It was a costly two points dropped, but considering the fall out from multiple injuries and suspensions, the worst may still come from this match. We discuss all that and more on the latest episode of Across the Romaverse.
