There never seems to be a dull moment around Trigoria during transfer season, especially this one. Today is no different with plenty of news and rumors swirling around various media outlets. Here’s a quick rundown of today’s updates.

Bianda Completes Roma Medical

This morning 18 year-old center-back William Bianda completed his medical at Villa Stuart. Bianda will join Roma from French side Lens for somewhere in the 4-5 million Euro range and sign a five year deal with the Giallorossi. It’s reported by Gazzetta dello Sport that he’ll join the club for its preseason training before it decides whether to keep him with the first team or send him to the Primavera side for seasoning.

Berardi Offer Update

Just yesterday, we at CdT reported that the Berardi to Roma rumors had again begun to resurface, after they had taken a back seat to other big transfer news in recent weeks. Today there is another update to report on. Corriere dello Sport claims that the latest Roma offer for Berardi is for 15 million Euros and the rights to youngsters Zaniolo and Antonucci. The 15 million would be broken into a 5 million Euro initial loan and then an obligation to buy Berardi for 10 million. Meanwhile, both Roma youth players would go to Sassuolo with a buyback clause in favor the Giallorossi, much like we saw enacted with Lorenzo Pellegrini last summer. In addition, Berardi has already given his blessing on a move to Rome.

Inter Want Florenzi

Football Italia are reporting that Inter Milan would love to try and raid Roma for another big name this summer. After recently completing the signing of Radja Nainggolan, it’s being reported that Luciano Spalletti would love to have Alessandro Florenzi join him at the San Siro. Reports claim that Florenzi’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, met with Inter who made it clear that they want the versatile Roman, who only has a year left on his current deal. It’s said that Inter would offer Florenzi 4 million per year, which is a about a million more than Roma’s latest renewal offer. However, according to the report, it’s said Inter can only offer about 15 million Euros to Roma for Florenzi due to FFP restrictions.

Roma to Consider Moving Strootman

Corriere dello Sport are reporting that even though Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman isn’t officially on the market that the club would be willing to listen to offers of 20 million or more for him. Strootman is the third longest tenured member of the squad behind DeRossi and Florenzi with five years in giallorosso.
