After Roma take on Empoli Saturday, another international break will begin. Roma will be represented on the Italy squad by two players this time around: Alessandro Florenzi and Lorenzo Pellegrini. Florenzi returns to the national team after missing out on the inaugural UEFA Nations League Matches against Poland and Portugal last month due to injury. Pellegrini earned his seventh Italy cap in the Poland match, but was disappointing and subbed off at the half of that match. He’ll look to carry his sizzling Roma form over to the national team this time around. The full roster for the Ukraine friendly and Poland Nations League match can be found below.

A couple Roma players who were on the September Italy call-up list won’t be returning to Roberto Mancini’s squad this time around: Bryan Cristante and Nicolo Zaniolo. Cristante has yet to truly find his footing in his first season in the Italian capital, and has paid the price in missing out on an Italy recall. Zaniolo meanwhile has earned his first Italy U21 call. Joining him on the Azzurrini roster is another U21 debutante, Luca Pellegrini. The U21 will play friendlies against Belgium and Tunisia. A link to the full roster is in the tweet below.
